National Data Conversion Adds Facilities and Operations; Additional, New, High Security Facility Offers Increased Capacity
February 1st, 2005 - National Data Conversion (NDC), a leading compliance, backup tape restoration, data conversion and discovery firm with more than 20 years of industry experience, has taken on more space, occupying the entire 31st floor of 41 Madison Avenue in New York City. The addition to its facilities was influenced by the company's anticipation of tremendous growth and expansion this year.
"Our new facility has allowed us to vastly expand our speed and capacity but has also prepared us for what we expect to be unprecedented growth in backup tape restoration and data archiving for compliance. This move has not only increased our processing capacity tenfold, but it has allowed us to build an incredibly talented staff to support the growth of our company. We have added engineering, programming, project management, marketing, business development, and sales staff, including Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development Deborah Johnson and Director of Operations Robert Breen," said Michael Daniec, President and CEO of NDC.
In the past year, NDC has processed more than 50,000 backup tapes and in excess of 10 billion emails, in addition to its regular data conversion work. The new, 13,700 square-foot space allows the firm to increase its processing capacity even beyond that, while maintaining highly secured conditions. Photographic identification, key pads, card swipes, and bio-metric entry controls are used in the most secure areas of the facility, where highly-sensitive client information is kept locked and under closed-circuit television monitoring 24 hours a day. Climate control and fire protection systems are in place throughout along with Dual Power and A/C Backup systems.
"Protecting our clients' information and having defensible chain of custody protocols in place is one of our main concerns; the security in our new facility will provide our clients an added piece of mind, part of our larger commitment to maintaining our differentiation as a client focused organization," Daniec added.
Based in New York, National Data Conversion is a full-service compliance, tape restoration and data conversion firm with over 20 years experience in: litigation support, corporate compliance, legacy data conversion and systems migration.
